BFCM 2026: The Shopify Store Readiness Checklist That Actually Matters
Before you announce a sale, check the journey that customers actually use. For BFCM 2026, that means knowing which products are being promoted, confirming stock and margins, and testing discounts from collection page through checkout.
1. Review what customers see on mobile
Test collection navigation, product images, variant selection, cart behaviour and shipping information. Check desktop too, and record any blockers with screenshots.
2. Test the offer, not just the banner
Verify which products qualify, when discounts start and end, and how discount combinations behave. Place test orders where appropriate and confirm the totals.
3. Prepare your team
Assign someone to campaign setup, customer questions, QA findings and post-launch monitoring. Remove stale banners and instructions before launch.
4. Plan post-BFCM cleanup
When the sale finishes, remove expired messages, check customer issues and record improvements for the next launch.
