Shipping policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Thank you for shopping with MM Collection.

This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver orders placed through the MM Collection online store.

It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Return & Refund Policy.

1. WHERE WE DELIVER

MM Collection delivers within South Africa and may also offer shipping to selected international destinations.

The countries available for delivery will be shown at checkout.

Availability may depend on:

  • the product ordered;
  • courier coverage;
  • supplier or fulfilment availability;
  • customs or import restrictions;
  • the delivery address; and
  • other operational considerations.

If your location does not appear as an available shipping destination at checkout, please contact us before placing your order.

2. ORDER PROCESSING

After your order has been successfully placed and payment has been confirmed, we begin processing your order.

Processing may include:

  • confirming payment;
  • verifying stock availability;
  • sourcing or allocating the product;
  • preparing and packaging your order;
  • completing fraud or security checks where necessary; and
  • arranging collection by or delivery to the relevant courier.

Processing time is separate from courier transit time.

Orders placed on weekends or South African public holidays may begin processing on the next business day.

3. DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Any delivery timeframe displayed on our website, product page, checkout or order communication is an estimate unless we expressly state that a delivery date is guaranteed.

Delivery times may vary depending on the product and destination.

Where a specific delivery timeframe is agreed with you, we will aim to deliver within that timeframe.

Where no specific timeframe has been agreed, orders will be fulfilled within the period required by applicable law.

We will contact you if we become aware of a material delay affecting your order.

4. SOUTH AFRICAN ORDERS

Orders delivered within South Africa may be sent using a courier or another suitable delivery service.

Shipping times may vary depending on:

  • your province;
  • whether the address is in a metropolitan, regional or remote area;
  • courier capacity;
  • product availability;
  • processing time; and
  • public holidays or other disruptions.

Any estimated delivery period shown at checkout or communicated after purchase should be treated as the applicable estimate for that order.

5. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping charges, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Shipping costs may depend on:

  • delivery destination;
  • parcel size or weight;
  • delivery method;
  • courier charges;
  • order value; and
  • promotional shipping offers.

You will have an opportunity to review applicable shipping costs before completing your order.

6. FREE OR PROMOTIONAL SHIPPING

From time to time, MM Collection may offer free or discounted shipping.

Such offers may:

  • apply only to selected destinations;
  • require a minimum order value;
  • exclude selected products;
  • apply for a limited promotional period; or
  • be subject to additional conditions communicated with the promotion.

Free shipping does not necessarily mean expedited shipping.

7. MULTIPLE-PRODUCT ORDERS

Where your order contains several products, those products may occasionally be processed or shipped separately.

This can happen where:

  • products are stored or sourced from different locations;
  • one item becomes available before another;
  • different fulfilment arrangements apply; or
  • separate shipping provides a more practical delivery solution.

If an order is split into multiple shipments, you may receive more than one tracking notification.

You will not be charged an additional shipping fee solely because MM Collection chooses to split an order after checkout, unless an additional charge was clearly disclosed and agreed beforehand.

8. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS AND FULFILMENT PARTNERS

Some MM Collection products may be sourced or fulfilled with the assistance of third-party suppliers, wholesalers or fulfilment partners.

This may mean that certain orders:

  • require additional processing before dispatch;
  • originate from a different fulfilment location; or
  • arrive separately from other products in the same order.

Where necessary to fulfil an order, limited delivery information may be shared with an appropriate supplier, fulfilment provider or courier in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The use of a third-party supplier or courier does not remove any consumer rights that you have against MM Collection under applicable law.

9. ORDER TRACKING

Where tracking is available, tracking information may be sent to the email address or other contact details provided with your order.

Please allow a reasonable period after receiving a dispatch notification for the courier's tracking system to update.

Courier tracking information is provided by the relevant delivery provider and may occasionally experience delays or scanning errors.

10. DELIVERY ADDRESS

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.

Please check:

  • street address;
  • suburb;
  • city or town;
  • province or region;
  • postal code;
  • country; and
  • telephone/contact information

before completing checkout.

If you discover an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to correct the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once fulfilment or shipping has begun.

11. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES

If delivery cannot be completed because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, the parcel may be returned, redirected or held by the courier.

Where permitted by law, reasonable additional delivery costs caused directly by incorrect information supplied by the customer may be payable by the customer.

We will not charge additional costs arising from an error made by MM Collection.

12. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Courier companies may make one or more delivery attempts according to their own operational procedures.

Please ensure that:

  • someone is available to receive the parcel where required;
  • the courier can reasonably access the delivery location; and
  • the contact number supplied with your order is correct.

If a parcel is returned to us because repeated delivery attempts failed for reasons attributable to the recipient, additional redelivery charges may apply where permitted by law.

13. SAFE PLACE, RECEPTION OR THIRD-PARTY DELIVERY

If you instruct a courier to leave a parcel:

  • in a designated safe place;
  • with a neighbour;
  • with reception;
  • with security personnel; or
  • with another person at the delivery address,

the legal consequences may depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

We recommend selecting a secure delivery location.

Nothing in this provision changes any responsibility for delivery that the law places on MM Collection.

14. RISK DURING DELIVERY

Where applicable consumer law places responsibility for the goods on MM Collection until delivery has been completed, we will comply with that requirement.

If a parcel is lost or damaged while being transported by a courier arranged by MM Collection, please contact MM Collection, rather than being required to resolve the matter with the courier yourself.

We may investigate the shipment with the courier and provide the remedy required in the circumstances.

South African consumer law generally protects consumers in relation to delivery, and the CPA provides that goods remain at the supplier’s risk until accepted where that provision applies.

15. LOST PARCELS

If tracking indicates that a parcel may be lost, please contact us.

We may need to:

  • verify your delivery information;
  • obtain information from the courier;
  • open a courier investigation; and
  • allow the courier a reasonable period to complete that investigation.

If the parcel is confirmed lost and MM Collection remains legally responsible for delivery, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • replacement;
  • reshipment; or
  • refund,

depending on product availability and applicable law.

16. DAMAGED PARCELS

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph:

  • the outer packaging;
  • the shipping label;
  • any damaged internal packaging; and
  • the affected product.

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Do not discard the packaging until we have had an opportunity to assess the issue, as the courier or supplier may require photographic evidence.

Your statutory rights regarding defective or damaged goods are not affected by this request.

17. DELIVERY DELAYS

Occasional delays may occur because of circumstances such as:

  • unusually high order volumes;
  • courier disruption;
  • adverse weather;
  • public holidays;
  • strikes or industrial action;
  • supplier delays;
  • stock availability;
  • customs inspections;
  • border delays;
  • transport interruptions; or
  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to communicate significant delays that become known to us.

A delay caused by circumstances outside our control does not remove any cancellation, refund or delivery rights that you may have under applicable law.

18. UNAVAILABLE PRODUCTS

Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order is placed.

If we are unable to fulfil the product within the agreed or legally required period, we will notify you.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • an alternative product with your agreement;
  • a revised delivery timeframe;
  • cancellation of the affected item; or
  • a refund.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

For South African electronic transactions, ECTA requires notice and a refund where a supplier cannot perform because the ordered goods or services are unavailable.

19. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Where international shipping is available, delivery times are generally longer than domestic South African delivery times.

International delivery may involve:

  • export processing;
  • international transport;
  • destination-country customs;
  • import checks;
  • local delivery partners; and
  • additional regulatory requirements.

Any international delivery estimate provided is subject to these processes.

20. CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES

International orders may be subject to:

  • customs duties;
  • import VAT;
  • sales taxes;
  • clearance charges;
  • customs-processing fees; or
  • other charges imposed by the destination country.

Where MM Collection collects applicable duties or taxes at checkout, this will be indicated through the checkout process.

Where duties or taxes are not collected by us and applicable law permits them to be charged to the recipient, they may be collected by the courier, customs authority or another authorised party before or upon delivery.

We will not describe a tax, duty or charge as the customer's responsibility where applicable law or the checkout arrangement makes MM Collection responsible for that charge.

21. CUSTOMS DELAYS

Customs authorities operate independently of MM Collection.

International parcels may occasionally be delayed for:

  • inspection;
  • documentation;
  • duty assessment;
  • security checks; or
  • another customs process.

We cannot control the speed at which a government customs authority processes an individual parcel.

However, this does not remove any mandatory consumer rights relating to delivery.

22. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS

Some products may not be eligible for shipping to every country.

Restrictions may apply because of:

  • local import laws;
  • cosmetics regulations;
  • batteries or electronic components;
  • liquids;
  • fragrances;
  • product safety requirements;
  • courier restrictions; or
  • other regulatory requirements.

If we discover that a product cannot lawfully or reasonably be shipped to your destination after you order it, we will contact you and provide an appropriate remedy.

23. EU AND EEA CUSTOMERS

Where mandatory European Union or EEA consumer law applies to an order, MM Collection will respect applicable consumer delivery rights.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed, EU consumer rules generally require delivery without undue delay and no later than the applicable statutory period.

If mandatory EU law gives you the right to set an additional delivery period, cancel for non-delivery or obtain reimbursement, nothing in this Shipping Policy removes those rights.

EU guidance currently provides a default maximum of 30 days unless another delivery period was agreed.

24. UNITED KINGDOM CUSTOMERS

Where mandatory UK consumer law applies to an order, nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude or restrict the customer's statutory rights concerning:

  • delivery;
  • late delivery;
  • failed delivery;
  • risk in transit; or
  • cancellation.

Where a specific date was agreed and is legally treated as essential, the rights available under applicable UK consumer law will apply.

25. SOUTH AFRICAN ONLINE ORDERS

For transactions governed by South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, MM Collection will comply with the statutory requirements relating to performance of online orders.

Where no different performance period has been agreed, ECTA provides a default period for execution of the order and gives consumers remedies where that requirement is not met.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any additional right available under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.

26. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Digital products do not require physical shipping.

Digital products may be delivered through:

  • email;
  • download link;
  • customer account;
  • course or learning platform;
  • digital-delivery application; or
  • another electronic delivery method.

No physical parcel will be shipped unless the relevant product listing specifically says that a physical product is included.

If you purchase a digital product and do not receive access, please contact us through our Contact Us page.

27. MIXED PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL ORDERS

If an order contains both physical and digital products:

  • the digital product may be delivered electronically shortly after purchase; and
  • the physical portion of the order will follow the normal shipping process.

Electronic delivery of a digital item does not mean that the physical portion of the order has been dispatched.

28. ORDER CANCELLATIONS BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to accommodate cancellation requests before fulfilment or dispatch.

However, processing may begin quickly and we cannot guarantee that an order can always be stopped once fulfilment has begun.

This does not affect any statutory cancellation or cooling-off right that applies to your purchase.

29. RETURNS ARE NOT SENT TO THE COURIER

Please do not return an unwanted or defective product directly to the courier that delivered it.

Returns must follow the instructions in our Return & Refund Policy.

Contact MM Collection first so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

30. DELIVERY COMPLAINTS

If you have a delivery problem, please contact MM Collection directly.

Depending on the problem, please provide:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • delivery address;
  • tracking number, if available;
  • description of the issue; and
  • photographs where relevant.

We will investigate the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution.

31. CHANGES TO THIS SHIPPING POLICY

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to our delivery providers;
  • changes to available destinations;
  • operational changes;
  • changes to our products; or
  • changes in applicable law.

The current version will be published on our website with the updated date shown at the top.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen in relation to an existing order where doing so would be unlawful.

32. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where mandatory consumer law gives you greater protection than a provision in this policy, the mandatory law will prevail.

33. CONTACT US

For questions about shipping, tracking, delayed deliveries or an existing order, please contact MM Collection through the Contact Us page on our website.

Please include your order number when contacting us about an existing purchase.
